VPP Texas is hiring a Setter Manager to lead the appointment-setting team behind our Houston, Corpus Christi, and DFW markets.
Lead a team of setters, coach live calls daily, and keep qualified appointments flowing to our Energy Advisors across three growing Texas markets.
You'd own the daily operations of our outbound and inbound setting team: coaching reps, refining scripts, and making sure every appointment that lands on an Energy Advisor's calendar is one worth showing up to.
Live call monitoring, call reviews, and daily feedback that actually changes how reps open and close a call.
Dials, talk time, appointments set, and closed deals, tracked daily and reviewed weekly against milestones.
Every booked appointment needs to be a real homeowner in a qualifying area with a workable battery placement.
Recruit new setters yourself and get them producing fast, not just onboarded.
Refine objection handling and pitch angles so call-to-appointment conversion keeps climbing.
Maintain pipeline hygiene across the dialer and CRM so lead flow never stalls on bad data.
Straightforward structure: a strong monthly base, and a weekly bonus tied directly to what the team closes.
Not every week hits a milestone. Some weeks the team is still building rhythm and lands 20 to 30 signed deals instead of 40 or 50. Here's the honest picture of both.
Send your resume and a quick note on your setting or SDR background.
A 20-minute call to talk through your track record and how you coach.
Meet the leadership team and walk through a real coaching scenario.
We move fast. Most candidates hear back within a week of the final interview.
Yes, though we prefer someone based near Houston who can occasionally meet the team in person. Remote candidates in Texas are welcome to apply.
It's tied to total team closed deals for the week, not your individual output. Hit 40 as a team and everyone in the bonus pool sees $500. Hit 50 and it climbs to $1,500.
You'd be stepping into an existing setting team, not building one from zero. Part of the job is recruiting to grow it further as volume increases.
Yes. As VPP Texas expands into new metro areas, this role is the natural path into a broader sales operations position.
Send your resume and a couple lines about your setting background.
